Mumbai, Friday July 30, Widespread heavy rain has occurred along the West coast, Northeast India and Western Himalayan region in the past 24 hours. The East coast from Andhra Pradesh upto West Bengal also witnessed widespread moderate showers during this period. Meteorologists believe that more rain is in store for the nation with larger chunks of the country come under the ambit of Southwest monsoon during the next 24 to 48 hours.

Mumbai, Wednesday July 28, Southwest monsoon was active over Konkan and Goa in the past 24 hours according to India Meteorological Department’s observations. Mumbai in the region recorded moderate rain during this period. The situation is expected to remain unmodified over the city as well as the region. Drenchers of moderate intensity will rule the city’s weather.
